Isentropic Ltd is at the forefront of an exciting, new £100 billion industry sector – energy storage for renewables. We believe our Pumped Heat Electricity Storage (PHES) technology is the only viable, long-term solution for large-scale electrical energy storage and recovery.
We are a privately funded UK engineering start-up where creativity is actively encouraged and facilitated by a management team led by engineers. Based near Fareham in Hampshire, we are building an in-house technical team of up to 30 people to take our PHES technology from design and development to market.
We are looking for people from a diversity of backgrounds, including physics, mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, aerospace engineering, engine design, thermodynamics, heat transfer, materials science, and electrical power machinery. The ideal candidates will be creative, innovative, hands-on engineers with highly developed analytical skills.
